Kabuli chana is generally sold by count & size in millimeters. Exported sizes ranging from 7-8 MM, 8-10 MM, 10-12 MM. Desi Chana or Chickpeas are generally Brownish Red in color and are smaller in size than Kabuli Chana. Exported size ranges around 4-7 MM. Indian Chickpeas are grown in moderately heavy soil with the beginning of February.
